Happy New Year to you,Friend and your pets!

January 1st, 2024 at 11:34 am EDT

Does your dog or cat even know that it is 2024?

We (aka humans), are pretty stuck on dates, associated celebrations, etc... yet it's not much of a concern for Tula- in fact she would be just fine if we chilled at home and played with her and her stuffies :-)

I do find it's a great time to do a little reflection...

So HOW am I feeling?

I would say mostly grateful!

My immediate family is all doing pretty well, we are all healthy, and the 'young uns' (young adults/former children), seem to be figuring it out.

The rest of my family, Michael's on Vancouver Island, and my younger brother's Ian's in Horsefly are all doing well.

I have a healing achilles tendon, and I am now currently training for the Boston Marathon April 15, 2024- much running!

We are currently snowless, and the skiing is marginal, (of which I am not so happy about), but it does make for good running conditions...

Tula the wonder dog is doing great- she just ran 10 miles yesterday, and is still ahead of me at the age of 12 ( something to do with ALL of those supplements she takes...)

We are currently looking for a new cat to adopt- preferably an adult, docile cat who wants to spend most of his/her time inside away from wild critters, get endlessly spoiled with treats, and just needs to star in a few videos a week.

Let me know if you know of any.

Our business, Veterinary Secrets, has grown a tonne this year, thanks to supportive clients and subscribers like you :-)

We are also a family business... I am grateful for all the family that is making it happen..Michael (much younger brother), his son Fraser, my daughter Aliza, plus 2 new employees, Dan and Shane.

This really is a family business ...

Our Social Media accounts have really grown substantially: nearly 1 MILLION subscribers on Youtube, over 600,000 on TikTok, nearly 400,000 on Facebook- Wow!

And most importantly especially grateful that we have subscribers like YOU, who continue to support us.

So yes Thanks again :-)
