A Big Hi to you Friend,

It's Wednesday, and I slept in...a BIG ruuuuuush to get the kids up, to the bus, my wife to work on time, let out the dogs, pet the cats, and make my most favored stimulant....

Coffee

Aaaaaaaaah

Now things are much better as the caffeine perculates through my bloodstream

Child Illness from Contaminated Pet Food
-------------------------------------------------

I recently read this story, and thought many of you may be interested:

A well known national lawyer is now suing Diamond Pet Foods as their infant became seriously ill with Salmonella from the contaminated Pet Food.

The child infant had severe diarrhea, fever and loss of appetite, and “was in obvious pain and was extremely uncomfortable.”

The infant was hospitalized for three days and during that time, a stool sample tested positive for Salmonella, the outbreak strain linked to 16 other cases of human illness in the United States and Canada.

There are now eight counts against the defendants, including negligence and fraudulent misrepresentation.

The plaintiff is seeking an excess of $75,000 for compensatory and punitive damages and costs of the suit.

Heal Your Pet At Home!

Best Wishes,

Dr Andrew Jones, DVM

P.S. Is it common to get sick from your pet's food?

No

Much more common to get sick from handling the debit machine at your local grocery store...How many others do you think have touched that?

This does further highlight some of the ongoing problems of mass producing pet food, and keeping it healthy.

Diamond Pet Food SHOULD have reacted sooner, and been far more transparent.

I won't be feeding their food any time soon

P.P.S. In this world of at home remedies, here's where I suggest you start:
