Many, many concerned pet owners have asked me
WHY I received such a harsh fine from my Veterinary College.

Well here is a statement from the Council:

"Taking into account the findings of the Inquiry Committee, the
submissions to the Council by the CVBC prosecutor and the
Respondent and his legal counsel, Council believes that a
significant fine is needed in this case of significant misconduct
to deter Dr Jones and others from repeating such conduct therefore
the Council thereby orders that the following penalties and costs
be imposed upon the Respondent"

It's so high because of 'significant misconduct' and the need to
'deter Dr Jones and others from repeating such conduct'

In laymans terms...set an example.

So IF you happen to NOT agree with this decision, here is a
