Sayulita summers are gorgeous, fun and full of rural Mexican life. It is quieter than October through May, but still vibrant and happy. People seem to take more time to enjoy each other, the pace slows down and there is more laughter. We take great pleasure enjoying the lush tropical gardens of our properties as they explode with life and color. We get fireflies on our garden pathway to town at night and we delight in viewing the lightning storms out at sea on late summer evenings. We have been in Sayulita every month of the year and have enjoyed each one - they each have something special to offer. Summer is still our favorite.

She provided three delicious dinners for us during our CP week (highly recommend the seafood stuffed chili rellenos, and fish tacos)." |

"We just spent 7 wonderful relaxing days at Villa Colina. From the moment we contacted Dennis to the writing of this review the process of booking, payment, arrival, our stay, and departure was seamless. The house was extremely comfortable, clean, and well maintained and minutes to downtown Sayulita and the beach. But, if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the town and purely relax, Villa Colina was like having your own private resort. You are surrounded by beautiful gardens in a stunning backyard with your own private pool and spectacular view of the beach and Pacific. There is plenty of room to hang out poolside or under the shade of the palapa. The owners provide you with suggestions for everything you could possibly need from transportation, grocery shopping, things to do, places to eat. Just follow their lead. You won't be sorry. Ernesto oversees the property during your stay and is very helpful with anything that you might need. He arranged for a private cook for us on a couple of nights and we were treated to some delicious authentic home cooked Mexican dishes. We can't wait to get back to Villa Colina! Enjoy!" |
| Casa Sonadora, we LOVED our stay with you!!
"We just returned from a week long stay at Casa Sonadora, in Sayulita, and cannot say enough about how lovely of a home this is. We traveled as a family of six. My parents, my husband and I and our two teen aged kids. The house is beautiful, and the views from all parts of the home are amazing. Be sure to treat yourself to the outside shower in the upstairs master suite, and also take time to notice the artwork in this home! The staff will accommodate any need you may have, from making excursion reservations (thanks Eric!) and arranging meals cooked by Carmina, the housekeeper at Casa Sonadora. She cooked us a lovely, traditional Mexican feast on one of the evenings during our stay. The pool is perfect, heated, clean. Clean...EVERYTHING in this home is spotless and well maintained. The walk to town and to the beach is very short, but when you come back to the home, you feel at peace and removed from the daily hustle and bustle. Everyone we met during our stay was friendly. There are so many places to explore, we cannot wait to return next year to further get to know this amazing town, and enjoy yet another stay in Casa Sonadora!" |
