Janet McMullin died last Saturday. Her funeral arrangements haven’t yet been made because the autopsy process has to be completed first.
Janet was a stalwart of St Mary's and totally committed: PCC Secretary, Sunday School convenor for several years, star soprano, chef for so many parish events, devoted and proud mum, and always so affirmative and good natured about parish life; a bit late with the minutes sometimes but reliably supporting all we try to do to make the church a positive, welcoming, aesthetically uplifting and sensible place. She leaves a great big hole in our lives and as soon as we can we shall come together to celebrate her life.
