| | DIRECTOR, CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) MEDICINE PROGRAM The University of Manitoba, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, Office of Continuing Competency and Assessment, invites applications for a 0.4 FTE Director, Continuing Professional Development - Medicine Program. This is a two-year term position renewable based on a satisfactory review. |
| DESCRIPTION Under the general direction of the Vice-Dean, CCA, while working closely along with the Director, Education CCA and Business Manager, CCA, the incumbent will lead the CPD Medicine program. This program is an accredited academic unit responsible for credit courses for physicians in the Province of Manitoba with outreach into North West Ontario. The CPD Medicine Program is responsible for accreditation and delivery of rural, urban, province-wide, national and international programs.
QUALIFICATIONS A practicing family physician and member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada or a practicing Royal College fellow and member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. A passion for lifelong learning and experience in and understanding of continuing professional development. Demonstrated leadership and administrative skills.
