Each Friday features a different topic, with multiple speakers and question and answer periods. Register for only the Fridays you would like to attend or register for all eight sessions as an annual registrant and save 30% compared to registering for each day individually.

ACoRN is a Canadian Program that teaches neonatal stabilization, support of the multidisciplinary team, and identify and care for babies who become unwell or are at risk of becoming unwell in the first few hours or days after birth and, where necessary, preparation for transport to a referral facility.
ACoRN introduces knowledge and skills sequentially, using a case-based approach. It is designed to be useful regardless of a condition's complexity or how frequently a practitioner is called upon to manage specific conditions.
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is a pre-requisite for ACoRN. Register for the next NRP course here.

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. The program struture features hands-on skills training, simulation-based learning, and debriefing exercises with the neonatal resuscitation team. Baby Steps 2023 will explore interprofessional best practices and promising models of prenatal, birth, and post-partum care for people who use substances.
This event is presented by Manitoba iMaples, an interprofessional group that is passionate about clinical care, advocacy, research, and education related to supporting people who use substances before, during, and after pregnancy.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Mindfulness (CBTm) is a skill-based educational program designed to help build resilience and improve mental wellbeing through evidence-based self-management strategies. This course will teach the key cognitive and behavioural concepts and how to apply them with your clients/patients. You'll leave with the knowledge a resources to deliver the CBTm program in group settings or on an individual basis with your clients.

SPACE IS LIMITED SO REGISTER NOW This two-day course starts with a review of the primary and secondary surveys and initial resuscitation including ample time to practice applying concepts learned. Team-based high-fidelity simulation sessions are interspersed with short, small group, interactive case-based or didactic sessions and technical skills sessions for practicing procedures. Topics include head injury, airway management, upper body injuries, abdominal trauma, imaging interpretation and much more.
A certified instructor is provided for each module. The participant-to-instructor ratio is typically 6:1 or lower during the technical skills and simulation sessions.
