Mindfulness in Medicine

What if feeling better at work didn’t mean working less—but thinking differently?

Led by Dr. Jillian Horton and rooted in the evidence-based, JAMA-published Mindful Practice Program from the University of Rochester, this immersive weekend is designed to meet physicians exactly where they are—busy, burned out, and ready for something real.

You’ll dive into the basics of mindfulness and its impact on you as a clinician, a communicator, and a human being. This isn’t abstract wellness—it’s practical, powerful stuff. Through meditation, deep listening, and structured dialogue, you’ll explore the link between physician wellness and patient outcomes, improve your ability to handle chronic stress, and sharpen your connection with those you care for.

Expect hands-on strategies you can use immediately in your practice, teaching, and life—plus a supportive space to recharge and reflect.

No mindfulness background required. Just curiosity—and maybe a deep breath.
