Next program: September 19, 2024

The Canadian Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns Program (ACoRN) offers a comprehensive approach to neonatal stabilization, fostering effective collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and ensuring vigilant care for infants at risk or showing early signs of illness. This program not only equips practitioners with the expertise needed for immediate intervention but also provides guidance on preparing for transport to specialized referral centers when required.

ACoRN's unique, case-based methodology delivers knowledge and skills in a structured sequence, making it adaptable to various conditions and the frequency with which practitioners encounter them. This systematic approach ensures that the program remains relevant and valuable, regardless of the complexity of the cases being managed.
