The ACS Network's Heart Attack Day is designed to help health care professionals navigate systemic barriers to find the resources patients need; to teach Manitoba physicians, nurses, pharmacists, allied health, cardiology technologists, paramedics and educators the optimal care of patients with heart attacks.

Fridays at the University is a CPD-developed series of eight full day sessions held online from October to June. Each Friday features a different topic, with multiple speakers and question and answer periods. Register for only the Fridays you would like to attend or register for all eight sessions as an annual registrant and save 30% compared to registering for each day individually.

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. The program structure features hands-on skills training, simulation-based learning, and debriefing exercises with the neonatal resuscitation team.

The Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns Program (ACoRN) is a Canadian Program designed to teach neonatal stabilization, support the multidisciplinary team, and identify and care for babies who become unwell or are at risk of becoming unwell in the first few hours or days after birth and, where necessary, preparation for transport to a referral facility
ACoRN introduces knowledge and skills sequentially, using a case-based approach. It is designed to be useful regardless of a condition’s complexity or how frequently a practitioner is called upon to manage specific conditions. |
