| | All dental practitioners are guided in practice by their profession’s Code of Ethics, a set of principles of professional conduct that establishes the requirements and expectations of dental practice members in fulfilling duties to their patients, the public, fellow colleagues and the dental profession.
To learn more, register now for Professionalism and Ethics in Dentistry with Dr. Patricia Ling, Registrar of the Manitoba Dental Association, on Saturday, February 29th, 2020.
In reference to the Code of Ethics from the Manitoba Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association, we will journey into the world of professionalism and ethics through exploration of topics such as; public interest versus public protection, personal versus professional accountability, informed consent, conflict of interest, standards of practice, duty to report, and more. Presentation and discussion of case scenarios/studies will enlighten learners on approaches to challenging practice situations.
This course is suitable for all dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other office personnel.
