This Sunday @ UCC: Delete - Leddy Hammock
|
|
There is no life, substance, or intelligence in evil.
So, in Truth,
1. “There is no evil.”
2. “There is no absence of life, substance, or intelligence anywhere.”
3. “Pain, sickness, poverty, old age, and death cannot master me, for they are not real.”
4. “There is nothing in all the universe for me to fear, for greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world.”
God, I am Your child – a child of Light. I now delete all that is false – first from my thinking and then from my life. I bless the part of me that is You! |

Join Associate Minister, Judy Tafelski for a seven-week study of the classic Unity text, Prosperity.
Judy will show you how to take the timeless principles in Charles Fillmore's master work and make them apply in a life filled with love, happiness, and plenty.
"What each of us wants, with a desire past all description, is to know and to express God. Your desire for abundance is His desire in you. Your desire for health is His desire in you. Your desire for happiness and freedom is His desire in you. Does not God know how to fulfill His own desire?" |
| | Presentation: Celebrating Satchmo-The Life of Louis Armstrong
|
| Sun, Nov 13 12:00 PM Peace Chapel
From poverty that provoked him to find ways to make money when he was only six, to one of the most celebrated entertainers in history, Louis Armstrong, Dippermouth, Pops, Little Louis, Satchmo…by any name, his popularity was immense and international.
Crossing racial barriers, borders, and genres, people throughout the world loved Satchmo. And for good reason: his achievements were unprecedented. He was the first black American to gain sponsorship for national radio broadcasts, one of the first artists to record scat singing and among the first black performers featured in major movies. His courageous stand for civil rights helped end segregation laws.
Let’s celebrate his incredible life. His story will inspire you and his music will move you with its celebration of life.

| | | | THE PROBLEM SOLVING POWER OF LOVE
“A housewife decided to use love as her secret weapon in a troublesome situation. For months she had been speaking of her ‘no-good’ husband. He was a miner who left home every spring to find work in the gold and silver mines of the Northwest. Usually after he left for the mines, she did not hear from him again until late fall, when he came home to loaf all winter.
During the summer months, she was left at home alone to work as a waitress, or to do anything else she could to feed and clothe herself and pay the bils. She had been contemplating divorce because life with her husband seemed a hopeless struggle for existence.
It was then that she learned of the problem-solving power of love. Instead of continuing to dwell upon her husband’s faults, she began to decree that divine love was doing its perfect work in her marriage, in their financial affairs, and in her husband’s job prospects. Good things began to happen.”
