This Sunday @ UCC: Lesson Title: 4 All We're Worth
|
|
“A thousand stars across the sky unveil the universe, then vanish in the morning light that slips around the world.
Yet, you and I know they're up there, the way you know somebody dares to love you all the ways you most deserve.” “That’s love for all we’re worth, and faith--the heart--comes first.
And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.”
“Where past and future start and end, this very moment shines–a fire in the winter cold we treasure more than any gold and know what’s ours to touch is still Divine.
It’s love for all we’re worth. What starts and ends begins anew, it’s everything, it’s me and you . . . . It’s love for all we’re worth.”
“That's love for all we’re worth, and faith–the heart–comes first. And when we learn to let it in, it’s heaven here on earth, this love for all we’re worth.” |

| | | | | | AT THE SPOKEN WORD OF CHRIST WISDOM, PROSPERITY POURS!
Even Jesus’ first miracle had to do with prosperity, when He turned water into wine at a wedding feast in Cana. When the supply of wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, ‘They have no wine.’ The word mother here symbolizes the emotional feelings of [hu]mankind. When you have a financial need, your own feelings test your reaction by reminding you of the [seeming] need. But Jesus immediately took control of His feelings (as we should) by declaring: ‘O woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come’ – in other words: “Don’t expect me to rush forth to meet this need. I must first work it out within my own thinking.’ When Jesus had gained control of His own feelings, He said to the servants, ‘Fill the jars with water.’ They filled them to the brim. The servants symbolize our thoughts the jars symbolize a financial need. We, too, meet our financial problems most easily when we fill our thoughts about them to the brim with ideas and affirmations and decrees of rich substance, rich supply, perfect fulfillment.”
(Catherine Ponder in The Prospering Power of Love [Unity School of Christianity, 1966]
Your Weekly Prosperity Affirmation: I FILL MY THOUGHTS TO THE BRIM WITH IDEAS AND AFFIRMATIONS AND DECREES OF RICH SUBSTANCE, RICH SUPPLY, AND PERFECT FULFILLMENT. THANK YOU, GOD!
