We Are So Grateful! |
|
|
|
|
|
We're (patiently) waiting to hear when the steel for the footings and foundation will be in production. In the meantime, we've changed the colors on the rendering to reflect more closely how the outside of the new church will look when completed.
We remain very grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus. Watch this space as we give thanks together that God is clearing the way for us to go forward.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Stable Season |
|
Highlights:
Make of my heart a cradle, Lord, so love will come and lay there.
Make of my heart a shelter, Lord, so love will come and stay there.
Make of my heart a manger, Lord, where Love’s the only answer.
Make of my heart a stable, Lord, glowing for miles in the darkness, so Love will find its way there. |
|
Last Sunday's Shining Words:
“And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them, until it came and stopped over the place where the child was” (Mt. 2:9).
Let Truth, love, and healing shine in all our faces. |

Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

Wednesday Evening Spiritual Treatment |
|
Wednesdays
7:00-7:30 PM
On the first three Wednesdays of December, our prayer services will be based on the writings of Elizabeth Sand Turner in Your Hope of Glory: “In this remarkable book, Elizabeth Sand Turner presents a metaphysical study of Jesus and His teachings of The Gospels. With emphasis on the writings of Unity co-founder, Charles Fillmore, she ties together his ideas with her own, presenting an enlightening account of the life of Jesus Christ from the time of His birth …. How are we drawn to Jesus Christ? What makes us spiritual beings?” On the last two Wednesdays of December, our holiday prayer services will be based on the writings of Myrtle Fillmore in How to Let God Help You. These special, contemplative services, led by The Rev. Dr. Leddy Hammock with music by our dear Sue Riley will be posted on FB to be accessed throughout the whole day on both Christmas Eve Day (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve Day (Dec. 31). |

“’In the inn’ there is no room for the divine idea to come forth. The inn symbolizes both the human, worldly habitat and interest that has no place for spiritual things…. The birth had to be brought about in simplicity and quietness…. in a cave or grotto [or stable] where animals were kept. The shepherds, who were the first to pay homage to the infant Jesus, represent those who have faith in God. To such persons, illumination comes as ‘an angel’ with the glad tidings that Christ the Savior is born. When we are obedient to the revelation and put forth effort to ‘see this thing that has happened’ (Luke 2:15) we find that the Christ is no longer a hope, but a reality. We then praise God for His life, which is manifested in our midst every day” (Elizabeth Sand Turner, Your Hope of Glory). |
