This past week, an important site development meeting was held with the City of Clearwater, Gulf Atlantic, and our project team for Unity Church of Clearwater’s new building project.
While much of the meeting was technical, the good news is that progress continues behind the scenes. The City reviewed the next steps for connecting our new building to public utilities, including water, fire service, sewer, and stormwater systems. They also clarified the inspection process so our contractor knows exactly what must be checked and approved before underground piping can be covered.
The meeting also covered stormwater and erosion-control requirements. These are the safeguards that help protect the site and surrounding area during construction, especially after heavy rain. The contractor will be keeping regular inspection records on site and making sure the proper plans and permits are available for City review.
In short, this meeting helped confirm the path forward for important underground utility work and site preparation. It may not be the most visible part of construction, but it is a necessary step in building safely, responsibly, and in full coordination with the City.
We’re grateful that the project continues to move forward and that the pieces are being put in place for the next stages of construction.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Bring the Kids to Church Every Sunday!! |

After a long time coming, we’ve started something new—there’s now a kids table set up in the back every Sunday!
For this season, our services are all about being together as a family while we wait for our new building and dedicated kids spaces. It’s simple, but it feels like a really meaningful step forward.
Deanna has graciously stepped up to welcome and care for our kids each week. She’ll have coloring activities available, along with a couple of iPads for them to use. Kids are also welcome to bring a tablet or phone to enjoy quietly during the service.

The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!

WINGS is currently enjoying an in depth study of Emmet Fox's New Thought classic, Alter Your Life.

Our Wednesday evening half-hours of meditation are presented as a "Spring to Autumn Series" of Unity Prayer Services drawn from The Healing Letters of Myrtle Fillmore (1936) - Cofounder of the Unitiy Movement - as compiled and shared by our Senior Minister, Leddy Hammock, from extracts of letters written by Myrtle in answer to letters from those who wrote to her for spiritual guidance over decades of her leadership in Silent Unity.

interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.

discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
