We just met with Tulio Zuloaga, our prospective new architect. Our negotiation went well and we hope to sign a contract with his firm, TZ Architecture this week or next. We were referred to Tulio by Housh Ghovaee, owner of Northside Engineering who is a very trusted civil engineer that we're pleased to know.
We remain very grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus. Watch this space as we give thanks together that God is clearing the way for us to go forward.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

Some years ago, Dr. JoAnne Rowe's High School, Academy of Richmond County, established a “Hall of Fame.”
Every
year, outstanding graduates are nominated to be inducted. Early this
year, Dr. Jo received a call from the Committee Chair, announcing that
Dr. Jo had been selected for 2025, to be honored along with nine other
individuals at the awards banquet.

The group includes men and women and there's always great discussion!

WINGS will resume on Tue, Oct 14 with an in depth study of Emmet Fox's New Thought classic, Alter Your Life.

Teach Us to Pray was written by Charles Fillmore (Cofounder of the Unity Movement) and his second wife, Cora (a leader in Silent Unity and in Unity's Correspondence School and a beloved teacher of prayer). Cora Fillmore contributed a large number of the affirmations, lesson plans, and instructional chapters in this volume. As we follow the lessons together, we see that prayer is not begging, but aligning our thoughts with God's ideas. Leddy has compiled a unique series of twelve prayer services, embodying the essence of each of the twelve chapters of this fascinating study.
Join Leddy and experience the deep thoughts of Charles and Cora Fillmore every Wednesday evening through October.

excellent adventure in allegorical Bible study, team-taught by
longtime friends, retired Reform Rabbi, Arthur Baseman and our Sr.
Minister, Leddy Hammock, sharing
insights into Hebrew Studies and Unity allegorical Bible
interpretation. It's awesome to see how these paths intertwine to teach
Truth!
Walk with these two longtime friends and colleagues who
are also longtime Bible scholars through intriguing stories in the Torah
with insights from the Gospels as well.
You
can just listen or you can also ask questions and join in the
discussion during this unique, rich, and fulfilling exploration.
Bring your favorite Bible version. Be ready to expand your understanding of scripture!

On October 23rd, the Jewish Federation of Florida's Gulf Coast will be showing the movie “Tragic Awakening” at Temple Ahavat Shalom in Palm Harbor.
The movie is a new look at the oldest hatred, a, post-October 7th film rethinking antisemitism’s roots, turning hatred into strength for Jewish identity and Western values.
The JFFGC is trying to get as many folks – Jewish or not – to see this important movie, so they are not charging anything to attend.
