We Are So Grateful! |
|
|
|
|
|
We've had a bit of a setback on the steel delivery, but we're working through it and remain positive for a good outcome.
We remain very grateful for the steadfast faith of all those whose gifts of
love and substance sustain our Church during this time of transition.
We are very glad to welcome old friends and new friends on Sundays on our
home campus. Watch this space as we give thanks together that God is clearing the way for us to go forward.
Our
beautiful new Church Home is being built for us in wisdom, love, and
divine timing and we are ready to receive it!

This Sunday: Leddy Hammock - Closer than You Think |
|
Highlights:
Lyrics to “Closer than You Think” - Sue Riley, Glen Roethel & Melinda Wood Allen:
“When all your dreams are hooked on a shooting star And the star falls down, remember how great you are. You are the guiding star you need….
Your day in the sun, the moment seems lost in time, When the sun sinks low, remember how bright you shine. You are the only light you need….
The road is long, and you feel weary. Take one more step, you are nearly home. Shadows of time, love that has passed you by And your hope runs out. Give it just one more try.
Love may be closer than you think. Don't stop now. You're closer than you think. |
|
Last Sunday's Shining Words:
Jesus said to John the Baptist, "Allow it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness" (Mt 3:14).
"It's all about allowing, allowing change to show -- then, living in the moment like it's all you'll ever know… It's all about allowing it inside." |

What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)
Your body is more powerful than you may imagine, filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing.
Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques that utilize the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips, literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.
Gather with a great group of positive and supportive folks with healing in mind!

"I worshiped Him the oftenest that I could, keeping in mind His Holy presence.... I continued .... without troubling or disquieting myself when my mind wandered involuntarily, even in the height of my business, I drove away from my mind everything that was capable of interrupting my thought of Him.... When we are faithful to keep ourselves in His holy presence .... those whose spirits are stirred by the breath of the Holy Spirit go forward even in sleep. If the vessel of our soul is still tossed with winds and storms, let us wake the Lord, who reposes in it, and He will quickly calm the sea. He lays no great burden upon us. A little remembrance of Him from time to time; a little adoration; sometimes to pray for His grace, sometimes to offer Him your sorrows, and sometimes to offer Him thanks for the benefits He has given you, and still gives you, in the midst of your troubles. He asks you to console yourself with Him the oftenest you can. Lift up your heart to Him even at your meals when you are in company, the least little remembrance will always be acceptable to Him. You need not cry very loud; He is nearer than you think" (Brother Lawrence, Practicing the Presence of God). |
