The OptiCentric® 101 3D with its new optimized software is the only system worldwide that allows the combined measurement of lens centering, air gap and center thickness. This significantly improves the measuring accuracy, because in the MultiLens calculation of internal centering errors, the real values of the center thickness and air distance measurement are now used in a patented procedure instead of using the theoretical design data.
A further advantage of the optimization is the improved user-friendliness due to the uniform software interface throughout the entire measuring process. The operator is guided through the measuring process, which increases process reliability. |

Rotation-free centering test increases speed and flexibility

The
OptiCentric® Linear has been revolutionizing centering testing, as it does not rotate the sample and measures the centering
error of an optical surface with one single image. With this measurement
setup, the OptiCentric® Linear is ideally suited for
- optical
assemblies whose position and orientation must not be changed during
measurement, such as samples whose optical axis must always be
aligned horizontally (e.g. those with floating lens elements)
- workpieces that go through mass production in large quantities on a single tray
- test samples that are closely integrated into large and inflexible systems
- sample assemblies with angled beam paths
