Dörte Zimmermann
My name is Dörte and I am the Product
Manager for our IOL products. After completing my master’s degree in Medical Engineering Science and an undergraduate degree in
General Engineering Science, both from the Technical University of
Hamburg-Harburg, Germany, I joined TRIOPTICS' R&D department
for IOL metrology in 2015. Since 2018 I hold my current position and enjoy looking into developing our product range further - along with the needs of our customers. Some of these new developments for our production based instruments I would like to share with you today.

Optimization for Production Use of
OptiSpheric® IOL PRO 2
OptiSpheric® IOL PRO 2 is our fully automatic optical test stand for IOLs developed for use in production. During the recent months the software was further enhanced making it even easier and safer for production staff to operate the system:
- Integration of a barcode scanner for easier data input and script loading
- Data entry via reduced masks only to ensure process safety
- Automated storage of the measurement results to prevent data manipulation
- Identification of the users operating the system
Part of these developments has been in connection with guaranteeing data protection according to FDA 21 CFR PART 11. We can now support you with the necessary infrastructure for access control and data management. |
