In this 50-minute video podcast, we look at the 4 primary types of surnames in Trentino and their linguistic roots. We look at:

Patronymic surnames
Surnames derived from personal nicknames
Surnames derived from place names
Surnames derived from occupations.

Many examples are given. I do hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

By the way, this podcast was originally broadcasted on Facebook Live in our Trentino Genealogy group, way back in January 2021.
