Updated ODORIZZI article, PLUS New Video Tutorial

THURSDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2025

Hi again, Friend!

Lynn Serafinn from Trentino Genealogy here. I'm sending you this quick email to let you know that I made a small UPDATE to the article I had written on the history of the Odorizzi of Sanzenone. It's a very small change, but if you have already downloaded the FREE PDF, you might wish to download it again, so you have the most up-to-date version. Again, the article is called...

ODORIZZI of Sanzenone

NEW VIDEO TUTORIAL!

Since I last spoke with you, I also made a new video tutorial entitled "Using the Archivi Storici Website"

The Autonomous Province of Trento has one of the most impressive systems of archives on the Italian peninsula. One lesser-known resource they have is the Archivi Storici website which contains a database of thousands (if not millions) of archives held throughout the province. These are NOT vital records (like parish records) but primarily legal parchments. Some are many centuries old.

In this 17-minute tutorial, I share a few tips on how to perform a basic search on this website, so you can access this rich, valuable research resource.

You can watch this tutorial in various places:

1. On YouTube at https://youtu.be/QJwEm2Ok6cs

2. On my website at https://trentinogenealogy.com/2025/11/video-tutorial-archivi-storici/

3. It is also on my TUTORIALS page on my website, along with other video tutorials you might find useful. https://trentinogenealogy.com/genealogy-video-tutorials/

Just a quick reminder, if you are not yet a member of our Trentino Genealogy group on Facebook, I hope you'll join us there. You just might meet some long-lost cousins.

Until next time, I wish you well.

Warm wishes,

Lynn Serafinn
