There's almost nothing worse than getting stranded on a training ride due to a minor mechanical issue...or having to cancel on your teammates just before the ride begins because your bike is acting strange and the local bike shops are all closed. Save yourself cab fare or a long walk home by joining the expert staff at Towpath for our hands-on flat tire/bike prep clinics. Gain the knowledge and confidence to take on the small issues yourself while keeping your training moving forward.
Or take things to the next level with our Park Tool Bicycle Repair course. This seven-hour hands-on workshop, led by our expert mechanics, will give you a strong fundamental knowledge of everything from wheels to brakes and derailleurs. The small class size and individualized instruction means that everyone leaves the shop with a new-found confidence in professional repair techniques and the ability to perform a tune-up on his or her own bike. The class includes the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, a SK-1 Home Mechanic Toolkit, a Performance Plus Tune-Up, workplace set-up, tools and lubrication, a 15% discount on all parts and accessories, morning coffee and lunch, and a special $50 Towpath Bike giftcard exclusive to TourdeCure participants. |
