Dear Friend,

Global solidarity with Palestine has never been stronger. Yet mainstream discussions often narrow the struggle to a matter of human rights or a geographic conflict confined to Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. In doing so, they risk depoliticizing the Palestinian cause.

What gets overlooked? The settler-colonial nature of the Israeli state. The unwavering support it receives from Western powers. And Palestine’s deep place within a longer history of global anti-colonial resistance.

The ongoing, Western-backed genocide has laid bare a stark divide: between the complicity of liberal international systems and the resurgence of anti-colonial solidarity across the Global South. As institutions fail to act, rebuilding transnational networks of resistance has become an urgent necessity—not only to stop the genocide but to achieve a liberated Palestine.

Introducing Towards Palestinian Liberation: Global Perspectives on Anti-Colonial Resistance and Solidarity

Bringing together scholars and activists from across the globe, this collection reasserts that the struggle for Palestinian liberation is a global struggle. It explores the interconnectedness of struggles, interrogates the economic and political interests that sustain oppression, and maps both the opportunities and challenges facing solidarity movements today.

For anyone committed to justice—and to action—this book is an indispensable guide.

Read. Organize. Resist.
