Join us in solidarity with the people of Myanmar for a powerful film screening and fundraiser during a time of deep crisis. Featuring over 200 minutes of post-coup films from Myanmar, the program offers a rare window into everyday life and resistance under military rule.
Since the 2021 coup, the regime has intensified its repression of labor, minorities, and queer communities. On March 28, 2025, a devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck the country—yet the military continues to obstruct aid and launch airstrikes. In response, local communities are organizing grassroots relief efforts that bypass state control.
The evening will include conversations with Myanmar artists and a civil society scholar, plus solidarity zines, artwork, and handmade items for sale. All proceeds will support grassroots earthquake relief.
Your presence and support can make a real difference. Come, watch, learn, and stand with Myanmar.
