| | Dear praying friends,
It has been a joy and encouragement to see many of you since we have been on home assignment. Daniel (7) and Ariela (4) have been good little travelers, spending many hours in the van, but enjoying special treats along the way (pictured above). We are at the half-way point of our home assignment now.
Daniel and Ariela are enjoying weekly the AWANA club at a church down the street from us, and Matthew (17) and Kirsten (11) are able to be in our home church's youth group Wednesday evenings.
Our upcoming speaking schedule is: Oct. 4, First Baptist Church (Chariton, IA); Oct. 6, Second Baptist Church (Liberty, MO); Oct. 9-11, Master’s Community Church (Kansas City, KS); Oct. 17-18, Fellowship Bible Church (Oskaloosa, IA); Nov. 1, Heartland Community Church (Blue Springs, MO); Nov. 8, CrossWay Bible Church (Blue Springs, MO); Nov. 15, Spring Creek Baptist Church (Oklahoma City, OK) and Nov. 22, Lancaster Baptist Church (Lancaster, MO). Oct. 25 and Nov. 29 are still open if you would like us to speak to your group.
We were thrilled to finally be able to meet in person our new teammates, Taylor and Helen Moineau, and their little one, Margot (pictured below). They are based in St. Louis and were able to come to Kansas City for a brief visit. They will be moving to Budapest the end of September and will live in our rented house until we get back to Hungary in January.
