Dear praying friends,
Here are a few up-to-date prayer requests and praises:
There is a Roma family in a village in northern Croatia with whom our teammates were hoping to start a Bible study. We learned this weekend that the mother of the family was recently working in a corn field, and when she was throwing the corn into the threshing machine, her clothes got caught in the machine which pulled her in and killed her. This is a terrible shock to the family, especially since the father died just five weeks before. Some of the family members go to our teammates' church plant in another village. Please pray for God's comfort and grace, and especially for the young church as they struggle with questions, fears and superstitions. |

you for praying for my recent Bible translation working session with Anikó and Lívia, Hungarian Bayash
Roma, in a village 2 1/2 hours south of us. Praise God that we had a good
working day and I would ask you to please pray for them as they work on
translating sections from Luke 7, 8, 15, and 19, and John 1-3. Pray for
time to translate as they both work other jobs, and for God's guidance
in producing a clear and accurate translation.

| | Anonymous donors are paying for Matthew to go to the International Christian School of Budapest this coming semester. We praise God for this completely unexpected gift. It will give Matthew good classroom experience as he gets closer to time for college and give him opportunities to make new friends which has been difficult to do since we moved to Budapest. Pray with us that he will transition well, learn much and be a blessing to those he is with.
