| SUMMER TEAM
We are excited to host a six member team from Master' s Community Church in Kansas City, KS, for two weeks. They will be ministering as a puppet ministry and Bible club team to the Roma in two Croatian villages with our Roma Bible Union teammates. We will all go as a family as we did a past summer where Todd did mother tongue language survey work.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
It has been thrilling to join forces with unfoldingWord and Wycliffe Associates and be in on the ground floor of some major projects which will be used to train and help nationals translate the Bible into their own languages. I have been involved as they work on developing software for translating and checking new Bible translations and for making sure they are accurate by helping to prepare tools for checking the translations against the Greek New Testament. This involves weekly Skype meetings and quarterly in-person meetings in Orlando, Florida
2016 PROJECTS
If the Lord wills, we hope to:
* Get 500 copies of the "Jesus is Lord" booklet (with 5 sections from Luke) in Hungarian Munteon Bayash printed and distributed in southern Hungary.
* Get 50 Bible stories translated into Croatian and Hungarian.
* Have these 50 stories translated into several (perhaps 7) Roma dialects spoken in Hungary, Croatia and Serbia
* Begin training Roma to work on Bible translation in six Roma dialects spoken in Hungary, Croatia and Serbia
* Prepare a Greek New Testament and the beginnings of a Greek dictionary and Greek grammar that will be used in software to help mother tongue speakers in doing Bible translation.
* Begin to recruit a team of volunteers to begin working on a copyright free study Bible and Bible commentary series which can be translated into numerous languages around the world which do not have adequate Bible study resources available.
* Help our international church find a new youth pastor and teach in the children's Sunday school program (Pam)
