Police accusation/court case dropped

Our hearts are overflowing with gratefulness! Last week we received a registered letter from the police saying that the charges against me have been dropped. The charges were that when I had tried to drive across the border into Croatia from Hungary using an international driver's document along with my US driver's license that the international document was a fictitious and illegal or forged. These were silly charges since I have a valid US license and the international document was a standard translation booklet that can be obtained from travel agents, AAA, etc. The police held me for 6 hours including a formal accusation, mug shots and finger printing.

The following days were stressful as we translated the documents, contacted the US Embassy, tried to contact the court appointed Hungarian lawyer, etc.

Anyway, we are so thankful that this case has been dropped and there should be no reason why our visas should not be renewed. Thank you for praying for us and standing with us in what has been an extremely stressful and emotional time.

Please pray for us, as after the summer I will start the difficult and expensive process of getting a Hungarian driver's license, so that we make sure that this type of thing does not happen again.
Other prayer requests
1) Pray for Todd working on the Unlocked Greek New Testament project (https://unfoldingword.org/ugnt/) and Unlocked Greek Lexicon project (https://unfoldingword.org/ugl/) as part of an exciting Bible translation program to ensure that Bible translations are accurate according to the original text of the New Testament. (I'll be sharing with you more about that soon.)

2) Todd heads to a country in the Middle East next week to observe 3 days of a Bible translation workshop and learn how to facilitate this approach to rapid Bible translation which we can then use with our Roma (Gypsy) translators in Europe. Please pray for fruitful meetings, good understanding and learning, and for progress on a new translation for a Middle Eastern language. Pray for Pam and the kids as they remain in Budapest.

3) For quite some time Kirsten has wanted kittens but it was surprisingly difficult to find free kittens through a shelter. But the Lord was kind and through Facebook connected us with a believing Hungarian couple nearby who were praying for a home for two new kittens. Below you can see Kirsten and Ariela enjoying Lulu and Rengar (six weeks old). Very sweet and fun!

4) Please pray for Stephen and Elizabeth. They have about 40% of their monthly financial support raised but need the rest pledged so they can move to Hungary to work with Roma as soon as Stephen graduates. To learn more, please visit https://servingwiththesells.wordpress.com/

Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support!
