FAMILY CHRISTMAS: It has been wonderful having the whole family together for Christmas. Jonathan flew in from Crescent City, California, and Matthew from Decatur, Georgia. Stephen, Elizabeth and Timothy live locally, and Kirsten, Daniel and Ariela live here at home. Together we have enjoyed lots of activities (some of which are pictured below): attending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services (where Pamala sang and Ariela played in a piano duet); eating Bosnian čevapi; making gingerbread houses; baking; reading the Christmas story and singing Christmas carols; playing board games, card games and video games; putting puzzles together; visiting Todd’s Mom, Geri Price, in Oklahoma City for her 84th birthday; having Pamala’s mom, Barbie Hughes, over for dinner and stories; exchanging gifts, etc. etc.

TRANSLATION PROGRESS:

We give thanks to the Lord that in 2022 we finished the consultant checks for the translations of Matthew, 1-2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Jude and 1-3 John in three languages, Gurbet, Chergash and Arli. In 2023, our goal is to translate Mark and Acts. Please continue to hold us up in prayer that the Lord will help me and the translators to produce translations which are accurate and understandable and to finish in a timely manner.
