May 1 Pray we can quickly receive long term visas for living in Croatia May 2 Pray for the Lord’s strength & provision for Pam as she finishes unpacking & setting up the new house May 3 Pray for the Lord’s help for Jonathan as he finds housing & moves to San Jose, California May 4 Pray for progress in writing & collaborating on NT Greek dictionaries we are developing to assist Bible translators May 5 Pray for Nedeljko & that a Bayash church plant could start up in Pribislavec, in NW Croatia May 6 Pray our presence will be a blessing to the Baptist Church plant in Nova Gradiška, 40 minutes from our house May 7 Pray for Stephen & Elizabeth learning Albanian & that the Roma there would experience God’s love through them May 8 Pray for wisdom for teammate, Joy, in her various administrative roles in Hungary & by extension here in Croatia & Serbia May 9 Pray for divine guidance for Todd studying Luke chapter 4 in preparation for Bible translation with Roma translation team members May 10 Pray we can make an app & website for testing & sharing our Bible translation rough drafts with Roma speakers May 11 Pray for fruitful Bible translation sessions when Todd meets with the various Roma Bible translators May 12 Praise God for everyone’s generous financial support which enables us to serve in Croatia (& Serbia)
May 13 Praise God for Sunday school in Croatian for our kids at the Baptist Church here in Slavonski Brod, Croatia May 14 Praise for the local church in Kansas City Timothy is joining which provides good teaching & fellowship for him May 15 Pray for wisdom for the unfoldingWord team Todd is a part of, developing resources to assist Bible translators May 16 Pray for progress to be made in writing a NT Greek Grammar we are developing to assist Bible translators May 17 Pray for safety in travel Friday & Monday for those attending Pioneers retreat, & for good teaching for the teen program May 18 Pray for a fruitful retreat for Pioneers teams in Central & Eastern Europe meeting today until Monday May 19 Pray for wisdom for Pioneers team leaders meeting together & for God to be glorified through this retreat
May 20 Pray we will encourage, & be encouraged by, our fellow Pioneers workers at this weekend’s retreat May 21 Pray for Matthew to nurture his walk with Christ daily with spiritual feeding May 22 Pray for spiritual hunger for the Word in the lives of each of our children May 23 Pray for our children to daily see God’s work & blessings in their lives May 24 Pray for fruitful progress on Bible translation with Goran into Gurbet language
May 25 Pray for fruitful progress on Bible translation with Sasha & Kada into Arli language May 26 Praise God we are able to host good missionary friends visiting from Budapest this weekend
May 27 Pray that our presence will bless the local Baptist church in Slavonski Brod, when we attend May 28 Pray for fruitful progress on Bible translation with Biljana & Djeno into Chergash language May 29 Pray for Kirsten to develop friendships that will nurture her walk with Christ May 30 Pray for a tutor for Croatian language learning for the kids May 31 Pray for the Lord’s timing providing a consultant & Roma translators for the Ludari language (spoken locally) |
