L-R: Timothy, Daniel, Kirsten, Ariela, Pamala, Elizabeth, Baby Sell, Stephen FAMILY UPDATE We’re thankful for wonderful times together as a family, including a Mother’s Day picnic where the KC kids could join us and celebrate Pamala. | | We enjoyed celebrating Daniel’s high school graduation in a ceremony with two of his graduating friends, held at their Wednesday school (see pictures above and below).
We’re grateful for beautiful weather, a wonderful supper together, encouraging speeches, and the many friends who came to celebrate this milestone with him. He will continue to live at home and work in his apprenticeship with a local HVAC, electric, and plumbing company.
| | | | MINISTRY UPDATE In our last update, we shared about the dedication and distribution of the New Testament in three languages. The Roma in the city where those distributions were made speak two of those languages, Arli and Gurbet. However, the third language, Chergash, is spoken in a different area of Serbia, so our teams held a special distribution there for that (pictures below). Also, there are Roma in many other countries, and our Arli and Gurbet teams even had a special distribution in Germany. | | | | | | | | | | Plans are coming together for our summer outreach in Croatia coming up in June. We’ve met online with our summer teamers (who live in Iowa, Colorado and Hungary; pictured below) to plan the logistics, practice the songs and go over the Bible story skits we will use in VBS. We’re also grateful for the youth group of a local church that purchased and bagged candy we will give out and for our local church youth who helped assemble crafts, all of which we will take and distribute in Croatia at the VBS with Roma.
