Here is a Scriptural prayer from Matthew Henry's A Way to Pray (pp. 190-191) which we would love for you to pray for our Bible translation ministry among the Roma:
"Lord, maintain the honor of the Scriptures. Magnify your Name and your Word above all things. Let those that are like sheep going astray return to Jesus Christ the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls. Psa. 138:2; 1 Pet. 2:25. As they hear the truth of your word, let them be convicted of their sin. Disclose the secrets of their heart by the proclamation of your prophetic word. Bring them to the point of worshipping you as they are forced to admit that you are truly in the assembly of believers. 1 Pet. 3:1; 1 Cor. 14:24, 25"

Dec 6 Pray for the funding to pay N. for her work to check & edit the Bayash draft of the storybook
Dec 7 Pray for housing for us in Kansas City August 2017-January 2018
Dec 8 Pray for the Wycliffe Associates team writing study Bible notes which will be translated into languages without a Study Bible

Dec 10 Pray for healing for Kada (a translator & Goran’s wife) with uterine tumors. Pray for peace, safety & full recovery.
Dec 11 Pray for 32% more monthly financial support for Elizabeth & Stephen so they can begin ministry in Hungary soon
Dec 12 Pray for divine wisdom & efficiency for Todd preparing a Greek New Testament text for our Bible translation software
Dec 13 Pray for logistical details & monthly funding to get Kada trained & started on translating Bible stories into Arli Romani
Dec 14 Pray for stick-to-it-ive-ness for Kirsten with her home school assignments & home chores
Dec 15 Praise God for the Roma Bible Union Christmas celebration together & fun for our kids with their missionary kid friends
Dec 16 Pray for monthly funds to pay salaries for Goran, Biljana, Kada & N. doing Bible translation & editing
Dec 17 Pray for in home care for Pam’s parents since current helper is moving on in the Spring
Dec 18 Pray for Pam teaching children’s Sunday school & for the Spirit’s work in the children’s lives
Dec 19 Pray for strength for Todd’s mom (her birthday today!) enduring Parkinson’s & dad as he takes care of her
Dec 20 Praise God for Matthew’s good example for the kids & for his love for God
Dec 21 Pray for fruitful Christmas gift shoe box distribution today to Roma kids in an eastern Hungarian village
Dec 22 Pray for wisdom for those writing New Testament Greek lexicon for use in our Bible translation software
Dec 23 Pray for our neighbors to read & understand the Hungarian gospel tracts they get with Christmas cookies
Dec 24 Pray for unbelievers to hear & understand the Gospel through church services & gospel tracts
Dec 25 Praise God for revealing Himself to us in Jesus! Merry Christmas!
Dec 26 Pray for 2 previous summer teamers returning to Croatia this week with their church to do outreach to the same Roma village
