| | Thank you all for praying for us. Here is a brief update:
- Ariela turned 4 and loves dressing up as a princess. Our whole family was together to celebrate her birthday and again to celebrate Matthew's birthday (pictured above).
- Matthew turned 17 and is excited that Todd is giving him driving lessons. (You can't drive in Europe until 18 so there has not been a chance before this for us to teach him). His job as a cashier at Target is going very well.
- The indices, front matter, and covers of my book, based on my PhD thesis, are done so it is ready to be printed (finalized front cover pictured below).
- We had a great meeting at Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Williamsburg, Iowa, last Sunday and will be heading to Walker Bible Church, in Walker, Iowa this Sunday. We thank God for these loving, supporting and praying saints.
- We have heard by e-mail from the church we attend in Budapest that there are many refugees who have poured into one of the central train stations in Budapest and park nearby. Please pray for outreach to them through our church and other believers in Hungary.
- Our teammate, Joy Hill, has 93% of her financial support to move to Hungary and we ask you to pray that the rest will come in so she can keep her scheduled flight to leave for Hungary August 31.
- We ask you to pray for $300 that we still need in monthly pledges (which would be met with 6 people, churches or small groups pledging or increasing their pledges $50 each).
