The Power of Love
When February rolls around, Valentine's day and the opportunity to honor love tends to come to mind. Let's face it, there's nothing sweeter than taking extra time to cherish loved ones. So why not extend the notion of celebrating love on a deeper level?
Worldwide, we have suffered major tragedies, in addition to our own individual hardships. Because of these trying times, it can be easy to generate deep feelings of fear, heartache, and perhaps anger. While recognizing and processing these emotions is imperative to fully heal a wounded heart, it is also crucial to not completely succumb to frustration. In moments when it is too dark to see the light, remind yourself that love will always triumph through the most despairing times to replenish your soul. And with time, allowing yourself to reopen your heart to love's light will only prove your boundless strength and relinquish fear's illusion of control over you.
I invite you to appreciate all of love's beauty this Valentine's day and to never lose sight of its infinite power. |
