Subject: Emotional Pain, Depression and Anxiety

Hello,

Emotional pain is a non-physical, psychological hurt or pain and could sometimes be linked to an underlying mental health conditions like depression or anxiety.

It is possible for a sufferer of emotional pain to experience depression and anxiety at the same time. Both may not necessarily originated from the same cause, but they can have related symptoms and treatments.

Depression is associated with feelings of sadness or being upset for several days or weeks. Symptoms usually include low energy, constant tiredness, poor decision makings, pains, aches and change in appetite.

Anxiety, on the other hand, has to do with the feelings of fear and worry almost all the time. Symptoms include fast heart beatings, tense muscles, fatigue, body shaking, restlessness and worry or fear.

It will be very devastating for anyone suffering from both conditions at the same time as it can lead to an extreme situation such as suicide.

The best option will be to seek professional help before the situation gets out of hand. There are so many therapy sessions that can be put in place to help cure those in such a state of mind.
