ABOUT THE SPEAKER | TIM MYERS, CS


Tim Myers, has served as an officer in the United States Army, and built and led his own construction business, collaborating with award-winning architects in the Los Angeles area. After closing his business, he devoted himself to community service, including helping to build a local teen center, studying conflict resolution, and providing counseling for young people. He has taught Sunday School at detention centers, and served on the chaplain’s staff at his alma mater, where he fostered connections across communities of faith. For more than thirty years now, Tim has served as a Christian Science practitioner, offering prayerful treatment and witnessing healings. His deep conviction, centered on the power of God to heal, shapes everything he does.


Tim’s lecture experience includes speaking to audiences across the United States, bringing a message of healing, comfort, and freedom to prisoners, college students, interfaith gatherings and the general public.


ABOUT THE MUSIC

Todd Peters is happy to serve Third Church as its organist.  He has two advanced degrees, one from Indiana University and the other from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Peters has been an theatre director, coach, teacher, and organist starting as a teenager in his hometown church in the Midwest.
