Sports Chalet, Soles4Souls partnership to aid victims of Haiti quake
Beginning Friday, Sport Chalet stores will accept donations of worn shoes in fair condition that will be shipped to Haiti to assist earthquake victims.
Sport Chalet is partnering with Soles4Souls, which has pledge to gather more than 250,000 pairs of shoes, along with necessities such as food, bottled water, medical supplies and baby products to ship to Haiti.

Soles4Souls, a Nashville-based charity which is working through international aid group Operation Compassion, has already shipped 30 containers of supplies including boots and other clothing items to Haiti.
"Being reminded of how fragile our world is, and seeing the devastation that has affected so many, makes it evident that our continued partnership with charities like Soles4Souls is more relevant than ever," said Craig Levra, chairman and CEO of Sport Chalet.
