As most of you probably realize, I've been in the middle of a series of experiences that I had trouble integrating and believing.
It hasn't stopped. A couple years ago I ran into someone at an expo and we had a discussion on metaphysics and health. He was a retired Holistic MD and was extremely sharp.
We stayed in touch and a few months later I visited his home in Phoenix and there was a book on the dining room table entitled The Man Who Walked with Jesus which he wrote. I thumbed through it and the first impression was that he wrote a creative fantasy about how Jesus' life looked through the eyes of Matthew.
As I continued reading, I felt a movement in my heart and the words jumped off the page. I looked up towards Terry and when our eyes met, I said "You were Matthew, weren't you."
He sheepishly looked at the floor and said "yes". I was struck. I didn't quite believe it. My mind was saying what next. We then sat in his living room and talked about it. He had published the book 12 yeas ago and after an initial promotion after which many of his friends scorned him, he put the 500 books in his closet, and there they've remained.
Over the next few months, I read the complete book, Terry Brown read the book. I questioned our Sources. I interviewed Terry on our Monday night call. And the energy was flowing.
If you've been brought up a Christian you'll want to experience Terry and read this book. But regardless of your upbringing or present faith, this book is totally inter-denominational/non-religious, and gives you one of the best ideas of who Jesus was as a human, outside of all the religiosity points of view.
