Singapore’s favourite comedy club The Merry Lion is back and beaming straight into your device of choice with a hot online stand-up comedy show featuring a mix of local and international acts. Headlining is Trevor Lock, renowned British comedian and star of Channel 4’s British Comedy Award winning, BAFTA nominated Star Stories. The Scotsman once described Trevor as ‘funny, moving and clever,’ TimeOut, simply as ‘hilarious’ and culture website Spoonfed thought he could ‘probably win an award for the most laughs in a minute.’ Joining him on the digital stage among others will be star of The Jim Jeffries Show and Comedy Central Asia, Singapore’s own Sam See, as well as Magners Comedy Competition runner up and Vietnam’s favourite comedy son Uy Le. The line-up also includes Singapore comedians Collin Christopher and Prem John, and British comic Charlie Wallace. The Merry Lion on Zoom will be taking place on Saturday 15th at 8pm Singapore time, and tickets are $10 for early bird tickets, and $15 for standard.
