Singapore's only full-time female comedienne debuts at The Merry Lion this 5th and 6th of July, bringing her ROARing brand of acid tongued comedy straight to eager audiences, Sharul Channa is a comedic force to be reckoned with.

Born in India, Sharul's family moved to Singapore when she was a baby. Armed with a diploma in acting and a Bachelor's degree in communications, Sharul waded through the murky waters of hosting and voice-over work to keep herself afloat at first.

But all that changed in 2016 when she was the first Singaporean woman to be chosen for the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival, which she followed up with a rapturous tour across Australia and Asia.
