With twenty five years of singalong to his credit, Mister Meredith is in demand for private functions and corporate events in addition to his regular public gigs in London. He has lifted the knees of many a celebrity over the years, anything from old Music Hall and Cockney favourites to current pop and West End hits, he’ll play and sing and encourage you to “along”. That’s pretty much how it goes.
Singalonga Pub Quiz
Do you like a good singsong? How about a night at the pub? Maybe you’re up for a quiz even. Then you might want to head down to this. It’s a singalong pub quiz where you can test your knowledge whilst singing your favourite hits, with random points awarded by quizmaster, song leader and cabaret maestro, Mister Meredith.
One of the leading singalong pianists in London, featured twice on the BBC, Mister Meredith came up with the idea of combining the two pub institutions a couple of years ago and it turned out to be a big success at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe. It’s great fun and really exercises your brain too. You see, you recall songs with a different part of your brain than you recall facts, so it’s a full on mental workout. Of course, you can make it even more of a workout by adding beer, but that’s entirely up to you!
Try it! It’s a unique experience and even if you don’t know all the answers, you’ll learn something new and have a good old knees up at the same time.
