It’s 1:44am and I’m up WAYYY past my bedtime…
However, I made a promise to you a while back to keep in touch so I’m going to do that now. (Also I told Booda that I’d give him $100 if I didn’t email you today.)
But trust me, bae, I’m doing this for you… for us. :)
Because when a man makes a promise to a woman, it’s real important to him that he keeps it. Even if it doesn’t seem like he did on the surface...
(Like if he says that he'll stop by after work but then you don't hear from him until 11pm because he got real tired and took a nap and forgot to call you... like I just did.)
YOUR response will play a big role in how he "shows up" in the future...
You can get angry and make him wrong for not keeping his promise. (Bad.)
Or you can hear him out, then express your feelings while also holding space for understanding. (Good.)
It's up to you.
