A few cracker games have already gone out to reviewers and Nick Welford from Board Deck and Dice tweeted, "Well, having seen an early version, I think you all need to pay attention to this. I can see loads of children being inspired to design. This isn't just six games, it's an inspiring tool kit."

  • Six games that all use the same components

New Publicity...

BuzzleBox 2: Doughnuts & Cake has had two new reviews this week.

Nick Welford from Board, Deck and Dice has published a great video review of the BuzzleBox. As the BuzzleBox is designed for families, Nick roped in his son, who he refers to as "Mini Board Deck and Dice" to review the games with him. Watch the review here.

If you're a Hungarian speaker, you may be interested in our first Hungarian review! PC Guru who review board games as well as video games, have released the first of their series of Dark Imp reviews. This one covers Doughnut Dash and Top Cake. If, like me, you don't speak Hungarian, I can tell you that Google Translate confirms that it is overwhelmingly positive. I'm hoping to get a proper translation, which I'll share when I have it. If you happen to speak Hungarian, here's the review.

Finally, I'm excited to report that a Dark Imp game in development - Uranus! - has made it through to the semi finals of an International board game design competition: The annual Board Game Design Workshop. The top 20 games went through to the semis. Uranus graduated in position 10. Full rankings of all the games can be found here. Watch out - numbers 1-9, I'm coming for you!

We're seeing a huge surge in sales of our Coaster Games. If you're interested, you can grab yourself a set of these six games in a holder - we post them out quickly so that you'll be sure to have them for your holidays. They're perfect for travelling. We're also trying to make connections with travel agents, hotels and holiday rental accommodation, so if you know people in these industries that you think might be interested in the coaster games, do let us know by replying to this email.

Best wishes,

Ellie & Peter
