Whether we are teaching music or raising children, one of our goals is helping young minds build curiosity, patience, and a positive perspective on the future.

This week, I had the privilege of speaking to the graduating Primary 6 students at Xinghua Primary School about different career pathways and my journey with The Happy Pianist.

I shared for 5 minutes... and spent the next 25 minutes answering their unfiltered, surprisingly deep questions, about teaching, handling obstacles, finding passion.

"You have no boss right? Isn’t that good?"

"Why do you like teaching? I teach my brother and it's so tiring!"

And even... relationship question:

"How do you know if someone is your life partner?"

I compiled 7 of their best questions, along with my answers into a post on Instagram. 

My parting message to the P6 kids as they enter secondary school next year.

Don't worry about having it all figured out today. Stay curious, keep trying new things, and explore until you find what makes you excited to show up every day!
