We have a delegation of over 20 participants who flew in from Singapore, accompanied by their teachers and family members.
Over these 3 days, our students are immersing themselves in group classes, masterclasses, rehearsals, solo recitals, and the grand Muso Production. It’s all about music, learning and growth!
This is our very first time bringing Happy music festival participants overseas for a performance experience, and seeing the impact firsthand makes me certain it won't be the last.
Traveling for music offers something a standard holiday simply cannot.
Here’s why:
1. Cultivating Adaptability in a New Environment ❄️ It’s winter in Perth right now! These students are learning firsthand what it takes to get out of their comfort zones and practice with frozen fingers despite the chilly weather.
Performing under different conditions trains true resilience and adaptability…skills that go far beyond the piano keys!
2. Global Exposure & Shared Inspiration 🌎
Music is a universal language. By stepping outside of Singapore, our students are making friends from different countries, listening to their unique stories, and watching them perform. It expands their horizons and sparks a completely new level of motivation.
3. A Rare, Meaningful Family Milestone 🎶❤️
Anyone can book a standard holiday overseas, but not everyone gets the chance to travel to a foreign country to perform on an international stage. This isn't just a vacation; it’s a shared family milestone where parents and children learn, grow, and celebrate achievements together.
