We have two spots open for the trip to Mauá. Mauá has long been a place with a focus on agroforestry and sustainability, and this vibration is palpable in the community. The energy of working in harmony with nature is evident in the gardens, the reinados (where the Rainha is grown), the cultivation of the Jagube, and in the food served in the community kitchen which is grown in the community. Participating in the making of the Santo Daime is an amazing opportunity to truly see and experience all that goes into making this sacrament. This trip is for those wanting to deepen their relationship with, and understanding of, the Santo Daime and experience the path not only in its homeland, but in its most natural form, from forest to bottle. This trip is different than our annual retreat in that it is much less structured and curated as well as the accommodations being very simple. |
