Participating in the making of the Santo Daime is an amazing opportunity to truly see and experience all that goes into making this sacrament. This trip is for anyone wanting to deepen their relationship with, and understanding of, the Santo Daime and experience the path not only in its homeland, but in its most natural form, from harvest to bottle. *You do not need to be an initiate to join us. What the trip includes: 12 days in the community of Mauá participating in the various activities of the feitio which include gathering, cleaning & processing the materials.(Activities vary between women and men). All feitio costs and church contributions. 12 nights of simple accommodation in the community. 13 days of meals: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner. Two works in church: the concentration on 8/30 to open the feitio, and Alex Polari's hinario on 9/6 to celebrate Brazil's independence day & the anniversary of the church Céu da Montanha. Works in the feitio house while the Daime is being made. One STW in the galpao which is the healing space José Rosa built. A few sharings as the schedule allows to check in and see how everyone is doing. Community activities: there will be a party on 6/7 as it's a holiday (Brazilian Independence), potentially a circus or Brazilian folklore presentations, lots of fun things. Transportation to and from the airport.
Dates: August 28-September 11. We'll leave the US on August 28th and arrive back in the United States on September 11th.
