Many hymns in the Daime talk about “service.” There is of course service to the work and to the Divine; service also exists on the practical level within our communities, which is one of the most important practical expressions of the teachings of the Daime.
Right now, a member of our community needs our help. Our brother Nathaniel is a dedicated and firm Fardado, husband, father, and friend, who takes care of the grounds of our church with care and humility. And, he is currently unable to come to works because he has lost his hearing, and the hearing aids that he has now are not working.
Our goal is to raise $4,000, which will cover the cost of the necessary new hearing aids and associated medical visits.
