John Rich Raising Concerns Over Why Governor Bill Lee is pushing for a Special Session to pass his Red Flag law.
On June 12, 2023, John Rich, a proven conservative and patriot, has joined to increasing call from Second Amendment advocates across the station to question and challenge why Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is demanding a Special Session to pass his "Red Flag" gun control agenda.
On Twitter, Mr. Rich brought a call to action:
"The Governor of TN is trying to strong arm Representatives to vote for a “rebranded” Red Flag Law in our state. Can you believe that? Just another RINO in sheep’s clothing. This attempt at disarming Tennesseans will fail, I promise you. Share your thoughts and tag: #RedFlagDown"
Shortly thereafter,
Brietbart News followed up on Mr. Rich's Twitter advocacy to protect the Second Amendment by noting that Governor Lee was following a model that he apparently borrowed from California in his desperate efforts to rebrand his Red Flag law as something else:
"In somewhat of a twist, on June 1, 2023, the Tennessean noted
that Lee wants a red flag law, but he does not want the words “red
flag” used in conjunction with it. He wants to do something like
California did with its red flag law, calling it an extreme risk
protection order or something similar."The evidence is clear and convincing that Governor Bill Lee, who identifies as a Republican, is pushing for increased gun control in Tennessee.
