On the evening of August 8, 2023, Governor Bil Lee's office finally issued the much anticipated proclamation for his threatened special session to enact his Red Flag law and other gun control proposals.  The reckless call includes not just overt gun control measures but addresses a number of other topics that are unrelated to the Covenant School murders.
